Module 4
I am really concerned on how much to condense my project. I want to make sure all of my important information is presented but I don't want to add to much extra that 's not needed and lose the attention of my audience. I am just wondering if anyone has begun to condense their project onto note cards or writing an outline. I don't want it to be to long of a presentation but I also want it to be to the point and have an impact on my audience. If anybody has any suggestions I would love some feedback. I have really found some great ideas from the resources that we have had in this class. The ideas about using Facebook to get the word out about your cause if a very good idea that I am going to use in my presentation.

Module 3 Post
Herbert Hoover said "Children are our most valuable resource." I am excited about my advocacy plan because it is going to help make more people aware of the benefits that Head Start has to offer children. It is only going to benefit the children and that is the most important thing. I am nervous about sharing my advocacy plan with the sight director because I don't want my ideas to be shot down. She can be a little harsh at times and I don't want her to dislike my ideas. When presenting my plan I am afraid I may get a little defensive if my ideas are extensively criticized. But as a Head Start director I'm sure we share the same types of passion for children. I am more than willing to take any suggestions from the people that I have been working with. I also want to get them involved so that they will want to joint my efforts also.
